Terms of Use
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Agreement to terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Risen from the Ashes, LLC (“we,” “us”) governing your use of The Path Few Choose app. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
What the app is
The Path Few Choose presents primary religious texts in their original languages, with literal translations and historical annotations drawn from primary sources. The app presents historical and scholarly material for study purposes — it does not take a denominational position, and nothing in the app should be read as an official teaching of any religious body.
Subscription and free trial
The Path Few Choose offers a 7-day free trial, after which continued access requires an auto-renewing annual subscription, billed through your Apple ID at the price shown in the app and on the App Store at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your device Settings, under your Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period already paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its own policies, not by us directly — see Apple’s support page on requesting a refund.
Signing in
The app uses Sign in with Apple to identify your subscription across devices. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. We don’t maintain a separate password or account system of our own — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what Sign in with Apple shares with us.
Acceptable use
The app is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to: copy or redistribute the app’s software, attempt to circumvent the subscription system, reverse-engineer the app beyond what’s permitted by applicable law, or use the app in any way that violates applicable law.
Content and accuracy
Original-language texts, translations, and historical annotations in the app are drawn from primary sources and cited scholarship, and are provided for study purposes. We aim for historical and scholarly accuracy but make no warranty that every claim, dating, or citation is free of error — if you find one, we’d genuinely like to know (see Contact, below). The app is not a substitute for professional theological, historical, or academic advice.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Risen from the Ashes, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app or your subscription will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these terms. You can stop using the app and cancel your subscription at any time as described above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
