Privacy Policy

We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and this policy exists to say plainly what we do collect, why, and who it is shared with — not to bury that in legal language.

Information we collect

Sign in with Apple. When you sign in, Apple gives us an anonymous identifier for your account, and — only on the very first time you sign in with a given Apple ID — your name (if you choose to share it) and an email address. That email may be your real address or an Apple-generated private relay address, depending on what you selected. Apple does not give us your email again on later sign-ins.

Subscription and purchase information. The Path Few Choose offers a paid subscription with a free trial, processed through Apple’s App Store. Purchase and subscription status is managed by our subscription platform, RevenueCat, which receives purchase receipts and a device/account identifier from Apple in order to tell the app whether your subscription is active. We do not process or store your payment details ourselves — Apple handles billing directly.

Email, if you choose to share it. If Sign in with Apple provides us an email address on your first sign-in, we may forward that email address (and your first name, if provided) to our email service, Constant Contact, so we can send you updates about the app. This only happens once, at first sign-in, and only if Apple provides an email at all.

Information that stays on your device. Bookmarks, highlights, and your reading plan progress are stored only in the app’s local storage on your device. This data is never sent to us, is not backed up to any server we run, and does not sync across your devices. We have no access to it.

We do not use advertising or analytics software of any kind. There is no ad network, no tracking pixel, and no third-party analytics SDK in this app.

How we use your information

We use the information above only to: provide and maintain your subscription access, let you sign in without creating a separate password, and — if you’ve given us an email — send you occasional updates about the app. We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not use it for anything beyond running this app and communicating with you about it.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the app, and only for that purpose:

• Apple — for Sign in with Apple and to process your subscription purchase through the App Store.
• RevenueCat — to determine whether your subscription or trial is active.
• Constant Contact — only if you’ve provided an email through Sign in with Apple, so we can send you updates about the app.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, for any reason. We do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. The only parties who ever see any of your information are the three named above, each acting as a service provider to operate a specific feature of the app — not as a party we sell your data to.

Data retention

We keep the information described above for as long as your account with our service providers remains active, or as needed to comply with legal obligations. On-device data (bookmarks, highlights, reading progress) is removed automatically if you uninstall the app, since it was never stored anywhere else.

Your choices

You can delete your account at any time from the Account page in the app — this revokes the app’s Sign in with Apple connection and clears everything stored on your device. You can stop receiving emails from us at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send. You can also clear your on-device data at any time by uninstalling the app. To request deletion of information held by our service providers, contact us using the details below and we will forward the request.

Children's privacy

The Path Few Choose is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
